Earth Wind and Fire that amazing group that produced hit after hit especially in the 70's and 80's. One of their more famous hits "After the love has gone"tells the sad story of what happens when loves disappears. Something happened along the way, what used to be happy was sad. something happened along the way and yesterday was all we had.
For those who have experienced the sad times of love reversal probably can relate with the lyrics of this song. After the love is gone, not a place you want to find yourself. After the love is gone what is really left? Not much, you can try and salvage the relationship, good luck, for me that approached never worked.
It's better to lick your wounds, pack up your troubles and move on. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean run from every troubled relationship. It just means if the situation is beyond repair making the decision to move on maybe your only choice.

"After the love is gone," hmmm, I do remember hearing somewhere that true love never dies. I believe that statement is true. We say so many words without taking ownership of them in our hearts. As I have aged, gracefully (smile), I am more aware of the power of my words and the passion of my heart. I don't love any deeper, I love as I feel love should have always been. It is for each one of us to define, and then, to find the one who shares that definition.
Sometimes you stay, but sometimes you need to move on.
Well, true love may never die it may also never be truly found. As you say we do not take ownership of the words we speak not really owning up to words true meanings. I would use the word love as an example of a word that probably lost value in translation over the years due to overuse.
I think that people say words not thinking enough what words mean and the impact certain words have on individuals.
