Many guys have come to you with a line that wasn't true and you past them by. Now your in the center ring and their lines don't mean a thing why don't you let me try. The Delfonics harmonized the message in a way I always wanted, but never could. I wondered if this young lady I was dancing with actually listened to the lyrics of the song while we were dancing, was she feeling me like I was feeling her?
As a young man, I had many slow dances with girls I wanted to get to know better, but because I was shy, I never was able to express my feelings during the dance. Thank goodness some of the ladies actually paid attention to the lyrics and some how got the message that I was interested in them. If it wasn't for some of those great songs of that era, I may never had a girlfriend, thank you Delfonics.
